Leicester Medics' Basketball is a club open to all skill levels, whether you are the next Lebron James or picking up a ball for the first time, everyone is welcome. We have an amazing group of guys and girls that attend our weekly training session. Last year we managed to win our annual varsity match against Nottingham, were the Runners of the Charity Netball match, and finally we came second at the annual National Association of Medic’s Sports competition for basketball (NAMS). For the 2025/2026 Year, we plan on having many socials and regular friendly matches against Birmingham alongside larger competitions like campus league. Welcome to the 26/27 Student Group Elections. Please note before nominating that manifestos are compulsory for your nomination to be eligible! There is a minimum word count of 10 and anybody without a manifesto will be disqualified. Guidance on writing a manifesto can be found below. All nominees and voters must have a 25/26 membership to the student group.
