University Of Leicester Cricket Club
The Men’s cricket club is a high performing and supported club at the University of Leicester. We have both indoor and outdoor teams, with the First, Second and Third XIs competing in the BUCS Midlands Leagues at a highly competitive level during the summer.
During the winter months, we have two competitive indoor teams competing in the BUCS Indoor Cricket League. Last season, the 1s and 2s both progressed from the group stages into the next round at Sheffield. Unfortunatley, the 2s were knocked out despite some impressive victories on the day. The 1s however, progressed through to the Super 8s at Edgbaston, and came 4th in the country, which was an oustanding achievement for the club. There are also indoor varsity fixtures against DMU, in which ULCC won 2/2 last year.

We offer a place for everyone, whether you play at county level or have never picked up a bat before and fancy a go! We also have lots of cricketing events throughtout the winter which involve other societies!
Social
The social side of the club is another aspect in which we thrive. With over 100 members, this is a great opportunity to meet new people with similar interests. You can bet there’s never a dull moment when ULCC are involved! Events are held every Wednesday throughout the year to help create a strong and inclusive club.
We also have a Cricket FC team which plays on Wednesday's through the winter months, as the team went unbeaten all season. Last year, there was also a Futsal Team where the side came 4th, so there's plenty to get involved with at ULCC!
