We’ve made huge progress in the last few years. Not only will we be entering into BUCS competitions, the University has also supported us by offering bursaries a number of bursaries to those who will commit to playing for Team Leicester on Wednedays. Last year we were given 15. We enter in the BUCS midlands league with 2 teams, a 6x2 person  playing a host of different courses and universities . We play at the Leicestershire Golf Course (the most exclusive course in the county) and are able to get a student 9 month membership. If you’re lucky enough to get one of the 15 bursaries, you will receive a Leicestershire membership for free. This will mean full acess to the course, coaches, practice facilities and ability to enter club competitions. We use this to have an organised practice round every Sunday and play 'informal' round and practice throughout the week to fit round your studies. The golf club have both outstanding short game practice areas and a full length range and two PGA professionals who have access to GCquad, 2 fully kitted out fitting/practice bays and an indoor simulator.
