Awarded Non-BUCs Team of the Year 2019, Mixed Hockey is a great club to be a part of as we emphasise serious yet fun hockey for all abilities – whether you have never stepped foot on a hockey pitch before or if you play in European Championships, there will be a position for you!

Everyone is welcome and encouraged to train, play and socialise in a club where you can make a great group of friends with similar hobbies to see you through your university life, whether you join us as a first year fresher or as a fifth year medic.

We have two teams in the local Leicestershire & Rutland Hockey Association leagues who play most Saturdays and cater to all abilities, with the 1^st team in Division 1 for the experienced hockey players and the Academy team in Division 3 for those looking to develop their skills.

Additionally, we are part of the Warwick Mixed Hockey League, in which both the 1^st and Academy teams combine forces on a Sunday, to form our 'Leicester Uni team' and face other Universities. Along with the Saturday and Sunday league we are also involved in tournaments with other universities, and an annual European hockey tour abroad, which is a highlight of the year!

We also have weekly socials every Wednesday that include themed nights and bar crawls to the Student Union. Socials are a great way to get to know your fellow students and Mixed Hockey are known for having some of the best! Moreover, we hold a variety of special events such as charity events and fundraisers, hockey ball and awards evenings.

-Standard Team Leicester membership: £100 

-Gold Team Leicester membership (includes gym membership): £150

**Please note these are the reduced prices available until 17th October 2021, and a Team Leicester Membership is required in order to join our club.
