Our Club
Basketball is one of the biggest sports on campus, and the city of Leicester itself. A record high full capacity in last year's varsity win against rivals DMU, alongside a BBL team, the Leicester Riders, basketball is a key part of the city's culture. We are a strong and tightly knit club with a great ethos and relationship between its members. Becoming part of the club is a great chance for you to meet new friends and socialise and of course, play the sport we all love!

Extensive Social Calendar
Being one of the fastest-growing communities on Campus, it is only right to have a social calendar that matches it. In the coming year, we have planned a wide variety of social events (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) throughout the year! Starting off we are planning on holding an annual Fantasy League for you NBA enthusiast. Weekly Let's Disco social is planned by our unique social secretary. Play in our NBA 2k tournament for a chance to win prizes alongside the biggest bragging rights. We also are offering competition-based events such as a 3v3 tournament, a 3-point contest, and an alumni game.

Standard Membership: £60 for the Men's and Women's teams as well as the campus league, Social membership privileges are already included in this membership
Social Membership: £10 for just the social aspect of the club
Team Leicester Membership: From £110 https://le.ac.uk/sports/membership shows you what you get with the Team Leicester package.
Match Days: Wednesdays
Training days: Varies from team to team but they are held throughout the week. There are about 2 training sessions per week per team.
