If you want to be trained by the best coaches the University has to offer then you're in the right place. With our 1st team performing in the Highest Tier of BUCS we offer competive football, alongside 2 other performance teams, 2 participation and a newly reinvented Development programme.

What we have to offer:

Here at ULFC you have the opportunity to play under an UEFA A License coach and surround youself with players from all across the country. Training twice a week and playing every Wednesday provides a good maintence to your fitness while branching out at the same time.

Not only do we win on the pitch, but to celebrate we socialise weekly and gather off of the pitch with our socials, these are a great way to get yourself out there and enjoy the University life to its fullest.

What Team Leicester Membership do we recommend?

To allow you to play within BUCS, you will require the Standard Team Leicester Membership, this covers training facilities and entries to the leagues etc. However, with the Gold membership, you are able to access many other facilities, including the University gyms and pools. These facilities are great for providing additional strength and conditioning to pair alongside your training, general fitnes and most importantly your recovery! Campus League:

 

Fancy creating a team with your mates and playing each week? Or just riding solo and finding a new team to join?

We offer a 7-Aside and an 11-Aside league all year round, as displayed on our instagram @ULFC_IMS

The 7-Aside runs every thursday evening, perfect for those reovering from Wednesdays, whether it be a different sport or a trip to the O2. It doesn't matter your ability or gender, Moves like Jaga (seen below), went undefeated in 2 terms

As for the 11-Aside each weekend fixtures will take place at our home round Stoughton Playing Fields, known as some of the best pitches in West Midlands. 

7-Aside consistists of 2x10 team leagues, while the 11-Aside is jam packed in a 16 team league! 

 

 

The Development programme:

Here at ULFC we want as many people playing football as possible, so if you're interested in a calmer approach of football then we have our development squads who play in our weekly Campus Leagues.

Not only does the Development offer for the lower end, but if you see yourself unsuccessful in Trials, it gives you the opportunity to play under 2 new coaches who will be ensuring missed talent makes its way into the BUCS Teams. Last year alone we had 7 players make their way through the development into the 5s, and that was without the designated coaches! So if you don't make it through first time, don't stress as there is plenty of chances all year round to get yourself into the squads.

If you are a Development player within Men's Football you only require the Club membership to play. If you are then promoted to a BUCS Team you will require the Standard Team Leicester Membership as well.
