Whether you are an advanced player wanting to compete at university level, someone who plays for leisure or someone who has never even held a racquet, you will be warmly welcomed at The University of Leicester Tennis Club. Our close-knit community allows all players, social and team, to maximise their university experience through sport!

What Do We Offer?

- IMPROVE: Our LTA-certified coaches are here to help you get fitter, sharpen your technique and boost your overall game. With regular training sessions throughout the week, you'll have plenty of chances to build confidence and see real progress on court.

 

- COMPETE: For those who love a challenge, there is ample opportunity to get involved competitively. We have two Men's BUCS teams and one Women's team that compete against other universities across the Midlands, as well as summer and winter league matches against local clubs. We also host regular internal tournaments to practice your match play and have fun. 

 

- GET SOCIAL: Our club isn't just about tennis - it's about community. Alongside training and matches, we organise plenty of social events including mini golf, bowling, the annual Christmas dinner and much more! Whether you are here for the sport, the socials, or both, you'll always find a welcoming group of friends.

Costs

Registration fee: 

£40 - New players and returning players of any ability.

£50 - Veteran BUCS players (Players who have in the past been on any BUCS team).

Team Leicester Membership (needed alongside ANY sports society membership):

£165 - Gold Membership (early bird offer until 23:59 on 12/10/25).

£198 - Gold Membership (after early bird offer ends - from 13/10/25)

£110 - Team Leicester (ONLY society access)

£99 - Student Termly Membership (Valid for One Term)
