The University of Leicester Badminton Club Badminton Club introduction We are one of the largest student groups in Leicester, offering a friendly space to meet new people and play badminton. Whether you’re a complete beginner or a national standard, come along to see what we have to offer you! We currently have a squad of 4 teams (3 men's and 1 women's team) and compete in weekly BUCS fixtures on Wednesdays and the Leicestershire badminton league. We have 2 level two coaches who can help improve your game if you want to, or you can ask your fellow players. We hold a wide range of drinking and non-drinking socials throughout the year including the classic Walkabout followed by the infamous O2 EVERY WEEK! You can join any time in the year, not just during freshers week. If you want to keep fit, meet new people and have a blast then we are the club to join!
