Currently, there aren’t any open public spaces on campus for students to casually play sports. Campus should be a place where students want to hang out, socialize, and build connections. Installing outdoor volleyball and basketball courts on the green space next to the Danielle Brown Sports Centre would encourage a stronger community feel, giving students a fun and accessible way to meet new people while also staying active. The courts could be free and open to all students, with the option for students to bring their own ball or for gym members to borrow one. This would promote inclusivity, encourage fitness, and create a welcoming environment where students can both relax and engage in healthy activity.
