Black Minds Matter
Tue 22 October 2019 18:00-20:00
Charles Wilson Building, Belvoir City Lounge
Join us for a panel discussion regarding mental health in the black community, including how structural oppression and racism affect mental health and how a lack of culturally competent care affects access to therapy. This will be followed by a workshop to explore what can be done to remove barriers to mental health support for black people and how to best support their mental health both in and outside the counselling room.
