Advice Service Clinics

The Advice Service runs four clinics related to health, wellbeing and support:

Therapy Dog, Crisis Cafe, C-Card and Victim First.

All of our clinics are completely free and open to all University of Leicester students. You can find information about each clinic below. If you have any questions or you want to discuss any of our clinics further, you are always welcome and encouraged to get in touch with us.

Crisis Cafe

When? Every Monday, 10am - 3pm
Where? Student Support Space, Level 2, Percy Gee Building

A drop-in clinic where students can receive free mental health support from trained Mental Health Matters workers, no appointment required. This clinic is open to students, staff and members of the public and it runs throughout the year, including outside of term-time. In instances where the Students' Union is closed, such as Bank Holidays, a telephone drop-in clinic is offered; information on how to access this will be made available on the What's On webpage in advance.

You do not need need to be experiencing a mental health crisis to attend. The clinic is open to anyone who feels it may be helpful to them.

Want to know more? We show you where the clinic takes place and ask a Mental Health Matters worker questions you may have in our All About Our Mental Health Drop-In, Crisis Cafe video.
