Training for Peer Mentoring

All the training is completed online via Oppia. The deadline to complete the training is 01/08/2022.

• Volunteers who are new to the scheme complete a 2-part online training.
• Returning volunteers who have been a Mentor before complete a 1-part refresher module.

 

New Mentors: Part 1 

• Understand the Peer Mentoring Scheme and describe what is expected from a Peer Mentor in the 2022/23 scheme

• Recognise issues that students could come to you with

• Identify the benefits of being a Peer Mentor

• Learn how to write an appropriate Peer Mentoring email

Returning Mentors - Complete this Module
