Applications/Nominations will open in the middle of January and will involve the completion of an application form where we ask for your personal details and then answer four to five open questions that are focused on the role that you are applying for. A shortlisting panel will review all applications received, scoring each of these 4-5 questions and will then meet as a panel to shortlist up to six candidates per role.
The panel is made up of either a current Part-Time Officer or relevant member of a Council, a current Executive Officer and a relevant staff member. Shortlisting will be completed anonymously, meaning that panel members will not know the names or any personal details of the applications. If you are successfully shortlisted, then you will then move forward to the election phase, full details of this can be found on the Election Resources Pages, but we will guide and support you through the election process.
You are only allowed to put yourself forward for one role; this can either be one of the Executive Officer or Part-Time roles.
