Freeman's kitchen and bar should be open more often including on Saturdays, and should close later on Wednesdays and weekends.
Considering there is no bar option in the actual student union, that leaves no proper students union type bar for students to socialise and buy reasonably affordable alcoholic drinks. Also, seeing as the village hub is never open and obviously out of the way for most students, that leaves no place for the university to provide alcohol on weekends.
However, if Freeman's kitchen and bar is to close later, on the days that it does the food outlets in Percy Gee should also remain open for consitency and maintain choice for food and drink.
Also, Wednesday is "student union night" at the O2, so why would the only outlet serving alcohol close earlier on a Wednesday?
