Welcome to UOL Bollywood Dance Society! We are a society who aim to spread our love for Bollywood and our passion for dance!
Our aim, with the classes we provide, is to enable you to improve and excel your dancing skills - perhaps even showcase them at various performances and events. We will have these throughout the year and will hold them in the SU Multiuse Space every Wednesday evening at 6:30PM! Our classes will be tailored to fit everyone’s needs and will not be too taxing, therefore you can join with any level of ability!
As Bollywood is such a beautiful and traditional art form, we hope to honour it not only by physically practising it, but also by learning about it through the other unique opportunities we have to offer such as Bollywood movie or quiz/games nights!
We collab with Hindu Society and Asian Dance Society at Diwali ball and Holi! We even hold our own ball in January after exams to celebrate all our successes!
Finally, we know that joining a society is all about meeting others who have the same interests as you, so we will also be offering a range of social gatherings throughout the year! These will be posted and promoted as and when they are planned!
