Welcome to Leicester Medics Hockey Club!? LMHC is a club for all years of ranging ability, so even if you have never picked up a hockey stick before or if you’re ready to jump back into a sport you love, this is the club for you! A fantastic chance to make a lifetime group of friends, develop your skills and have lots of fun along the way. We have competitive matches in both the local mixed league and NAMS, so there are plenty of opportunities for everyone to get involved. We host regular socials and go to 2 hockey tours, in November and April, so there's rarely a dull moment at the club! Training 11:30am - 1pm every Sunday @ Manor Road Astro Pitch (Roger Bettles Sport Centre), Oadby 5 minute walk from halls Matches Every Saturday for the local league Some Sundays for NAMS Regular socials are set up throughout the year by our amazing social secs (both drinking and non-drinking) so even if playing hockey isn’t your forte, you can join us as a social member and still become a part of our family. We also understand the stress and pressure everyone experiences throughout medical school, so regular revision sessions are set up by our welfare sec to help you alongside your learning and to be a shoulder to lean on whenever you need.
