The UoL Investment Society aims to connect students to the sectors within financial services, to increase their understanding of the industry and to grow its presence on campus. Our events will offer networking opportunities and provide insight into leading firms and their recruitment process. We want our members to equip themselves with key knowledge to pursue their career aspirations in today's increasingly competitive markets. Services we plan to offer our members;Alumni networking sessions; we aim to bring University of Leicester graduates who are currently working in financial services to showcase their career journey and give our members a path to success. Employer networking events - one of the main reasons we founded this society was to increase awareness at the University of Leicester. This can be done by inviting various employers to demystify their recruitment process for summer analyst and analyst programs by telling us, first-hand, the skills and qualifications they find valuable.
