The UoL Investment Banking Society aims to connect students to the sectors within financial services, to increase their understanding of the industry and grow its presence on campus. Our events will offer networking opportunities and provide insight into leading firms and their recruitment process. We want our members to equip themselves with key knowledge to pursue their career aspirations in today's increasingly competitive markets.

 

Services we plan to offer our members:

• Alumni networking sessions – we aim to bring University of Leicester graduates that are currently working in financial services to showcase their career journey and give our members a path to success. 
• Employer networking events - one of the main reasons we founded this society was to increase awareness at the University of Leicester. This can be done through inviting various employers to demystify their recruitment process for summer analyst and analyst programs by telling us, first hand, the skills and qualifications they find valuable.
• Employability sessions - UoLIBS is working on great resources and events to help our members prepare for today's volatile job market. By getting involved in our society we can help our members develop an edge, which will help them receive offers from leading employers and gain lifelong transferable skills.
