Could you lead this Student Group?  Head to Start a Society to get started! The Music Association is an umbrella group for all University of Leicester musical societies. We cover Band and Gig, Big Band, Chamber Choir, Chorus, Concert Band, and Orchestra, as well as all the smaller groups that are a part of these societies- links to these, can be found at the bottom of this page. In between concerts we also get together and socialise; by mixing with musicians from the other societies we can provide an even better time for every musician in the University! These include our annual MA Barcrawl in semester 1, the Music Association Ball in semester 2, and a joint concert, as well as other events throughout the year. We also have a close partnership with the Philharmonia, one of the world's best orchestras based in London, involving a scholarship programme, applications for which open in September every year.
