Welcome to the Leicester SU page for the Marxist Society.
We are part of a national group, the Marxist Student Federation(MSF), which is, in turn, a part of the Socialist Appeal (SA), the UK branch of the International Marxist Tendency(IMT).
We hold regular meetings on campus to discuss politics, Marxist theory, and History. We also have opportunities to travel around the country and even abroad attending meetings and events organised by the MSF, SA, and the IMT.
We can also help students in learning about Marxism through the Well Red Bookshop and, through the SA’s fortnightly paper and quarterly In defence of Marxism magazine.
