💚 Green Party Society 💚

The Green Party society is a new democratic, student-led society for anyone interested in social justice, climate justice, and building a fairer, greener future. We aim to create an inclusive, welcoming space for discussion, learning, and action, whether you are politically experienced or completely new.

We combine regular discussions, community volunteering, and social events, while supporting local action in Leicester and remaining independent and student-run.

What We Do 📌

We run regular discussions, events, and film screenings that make Green ideas accessible and encourage open, supportive conversation.

We also take part in community action and volunteering, including litter picks, fundraising, and work with local organisations, offering practical ways to get involved and make a difference.

Alongside this, we host social events throughout the term and share information about relevant events and actions in Leicester or run by other societies, often attending together as a group.

Whether you want to learn more about Green politics, take part in community action, meet like-minded people, or simply try something new, Green Party UoL is open to you.

You can get involved by attending events, joining volunteering activities, helping organise projects, or becoming part of the committee. Membership is open to all students, regardless of political background or experience.
