The Universites of Leicester (DMU & UOL) Bhangra Society is a long standing and well-known society which sets out to promote the best of Punjabi culture through the medium of Bhangra. In addition to our weekly classes, we will also host events such as Bhangra nights, which will most definitely live up to your expectations!
In previous years our competitive team have competed in:
Capital Bhangra 2018 and placed 1st
The Bhangra Showdown 2019 and placed 3rd
The Bhangra Showdown 2020 and placed 2nd
The Bhangra Showdown 2022 and placed 2nd
The Bhangra Showdown 2023 and placed 5th
We are only looking to become bigger and better! If you are interested in joining our competitve team there will be auditions which you can partiticapte in! More information on these auditions and what the society can do for you will be explained at our Meet & Greet!
