About Us:
Do you like to play tabletop games? Are you interested in seeing what all the fuss is about over Dungeons and Dragons, Magic: The Gathering, Warhammer, and all those other nerdy things?
If you answered 'yes' to either one of those questions, then the Tabletop Games Society is for you! No experience of any kind is necessary, and we make it a priority to welcome newcomers. We pride ourselves on being an inclusive and safe space too, feel free to come and find the committee if you have any worries.

FAQs:
When does Tabletop Society meet?
We meet twice per week from 6pm to 9:30pm in the Sir Bob Burgess Building, in room 2.02 and 2.03 for Mondays and 1.02 and 1.03 on Wednesdays.
We also will be having free Give It A Go sessions through the first two weeks of term where you don’t need a membership, and we run loads of fun special events to get people involved. More details on these events will be in the Discord server!
What sort of games do you play?
We play all kinds of tabletop games, including (but not limited to) board games, card games, TTRPGs and wargames. If there's a specific game you want to play it's definitely worth asking around the community - somebody will always be up for playing it! If we don’t have a game you’re interested in, please don’t hesitate to recommend it to us! We’re always looking to our members to provide recommendations and we get in new board games each semester.
I am new to this. What do I do?
First and foremost, welcome to one of the best hobbies in the world!
Our meetings are completely casual. You can often simply walk in and find a group to play with. There are usually a number of groups and games running at a time, and our society is very welcoming to newcomers and eager to introduce new games to folks that are unfamiliar to them.
Do I need to bring anything to meetings?
You can if you want. Members often bring games along that they’re familiar with, and we’re always happy to see something new being played! Otherwise, we have an ever-expanding inventory of games that members can access.
