Burlesque is a unique art of clothing removal – not ‘just stripping’ – a common misconception.
As a performing art it incorporates dance, acting, comedy and satire! Everyone has their unique style and we love it all: classical and neo burlesque, singers and dancers. We are a family of glitz, glam, sequins and sexiness.
Burlesque broadens the definition of beauty in a way that is inclusive of everyone. You'll find performers with varying body types, styles, tastes, personalities and personas. It's a creative outlet of expression whereby you can have complete control of your artistic style. We have performers that never remove any clothing and others who bare all!
We teach classes on confidence, dance, clothing removal, hair and makeup skills, costume making, choreography, performance, hosting skills, prop usage and we also host self-care and welfare sessions.
Extra special classes include balloon pop, belly dancing, feather fans, veil fans and isis wings and we are expanding our society equipment so that everyone can learn how to use them!
