Leicester Friends of Medics&Me a society partnered with the national Medics&Me charity. Alongside our aims of providing outreach events in local schools to support aspiring medics with their medicine applications (which is increadibly rewarding!), we also provide lots of support to all current medical students too - from revision series to mock IUPAs, practice exam style questions, wellbeing events, socials/networking events to meet new people, opportunities for teaching and research for your portfolio, and informal mentoring schemes to be paired with a buddy in an older year which we will soon be launching. In being part of our society, you're joining a friendly and supportive community where you can access advice from older years!
