Namaste! We are the University of Leicester Nepalese Society and we are here to represent Nepalese culture on Campus and have a good time.
We aim to provide a welcoming space for the Nepalese students in Leicester as well as anybody else interested in Nepalese people, culture, food or just generally anybody who wants to hang out as we are a highly inclusive and diverse society. As a minority ethnic group we strive towards a more inclusive community on campus and we love sharing and celebrating Nepal and its beautiful, rich culture, after spending enough time with us you will see how friendly and hospitable Nepalese people are! Join us for a range of different activities organised by our amazing team ranging from cultural and formal events, nights out, socials, games nights, karaoke, dinners and now thanks to our new sports reps, sporting events and competitions/tournaments, we also run a lot of collaborative events with other societies and universities so there is a bit of everything and something for everyone!
