Want to discuss interesting topics, debate competitively, become a part of a welcoming community, or just improve your public speaking skills?
Then the Debating Society has you covered
Come along to one of our weekly debate and discussion sessions which are designed to be accessible as possible for beginners and non-competitive. Our sessions are held on Tuesday evenings (6-7:30 pm) with the opportunity to chat and get to know each other better afterwards at our informal pub socials, but there's no pressure to drink.
We also offer a range of regular socials from low-key pizza nights to competitive balloon debates to drunken debates! Socials are an excellent opportunity to meet new people and just have some fun. Check out the ‘events’ section, or our Instagram for more!
Take a look at our social media to see what we do! Feel free to ask us questions, DMs are always open.
