The Indonesian Society is a vibrant community dedicated to bringing together Indonesian students and international friends from all walks of life. Whether you're from Indonesia, have roots there, or simply love the culture, this is your home away from home!
Our mission is to foster strong bonds among students while celebrating the richness of Indonesian heritage, values, and traditions. From cultural festivals and traditional cuisine nights to language exchanges and thought-provoking discussions, we create a space that’s both meaningful and memorable.
At the heart of our society lies the spirit of gotong royong (mutual cooperation), respect for diversity, and the warmth that makes Indonesian culture so unique. We aim to promote these values not just within our community, but also to the wider public through inclusive and engaging events.
Note: Our society is a subordinate organisation under the Indonesian Students Association in Leicester (PPI Leicester) ^^
