Don't Rush!

Don't rush to rent, take your time...

Starting your search for accommodation after the WInter break, or later, is absolutely fine! This campaign is here to reassure you that there is no rush and taking your time will result in accommodation you are, hopefully, much happier with. Below you'll find some key guidlines as well as some resources to help you further.

If you want further help or to chat, visit the SU Advice Service.

Don't rush to:

1. Rent a property:

There are still plenty of great properties available after Christmas break.

2. Choose your housemates

Mess, noise, and food thieves are some of the most common reasons for household fall outs.

3. Sign a tenancy agreement

They're legally binding documents regardless of the COVID-19 impact. If you're unsure, get some advice before you commit to a contract.
