How do you think your best friends describe you? Ambitious, adaptable and empathetic
What inspired you to become a PTO? I wanted to become a PTO because I’m passionate about creating a supportive and inclusive environment for students. As someone who has founded initiatives through the Women in Law society, I’ve seen first-hand how small changes can make a big difference. I wanted to bring that determination to the wider student body and make sure every woman-identifying student feels heard, represented, and supported.
What can you offer students in your role? I can offer a friendly and approachable voice, someone students can turn to for change, support, or even just a chat about their experiences. I’ll work to make sure students have access to resources, opportunities and initiatives that can help them succeed both academically and personally.
What is the most important change you want to make this year? The most important change I want to make this year is improving access and support for students who might feel underrepresented or face barriers at university. This includes practical support like mentoring and bursaries, as well as fostering a more inclusive culture where everyone feels valued and empowered to succeed.
