The Leicester Universities Society of Change Ringers (LUSCR) is a society for students, staff, and alumni of either of the universities in Leicester: University of Leicester and De Montfort University. We are a friendly group who focusses on progressing our student ringers using the help of our large alumni base, and we hope to create a fun atmosphere that breeds friendships and long-lasting memories. We hope to have many social events to facilitate this!

We ring every Wednesday at St Mary De Castro Church in Leicester city centre from 7pm until 8:30pm sometimes going to the pub afterwards. Come along if you'd like to learn how to ring, or can already ring. We welcome everyone at any skill level at all! We hope to see you there!

Ringing outing in Birmingham- organised by BUSCR: 14th March 10am - 4pm; Birmingham; We will be going to Birmingham on Saturday, 14th March, to join Birmingham university society of change ringers and numerous other university societies, for an outing to some towers in Birmingham city centre! This promises to be an enjoyable day!

Student Group Main Elections 26.27

Welcome to the 26/27 Student Group Elections. Please note before nominating that manifestos are compulsory for your nomination to be eligible! There is a minimum word count of 10 and anybody without a manifesto will be disqualified. Guidance on writing a manifesto can be found below. All nominees and voters must have a 25/26 membership to the student group. If you need help deciding on which role to go for or if you are unsure on the responsibilities of the role, please check the role descriptions document below.
